This shutterspeed photoseries is mainly inspired by the portraits of expressionistic painter Francis Bacon. These portraits contain disformed faces, which almost look as if they are moving and the painter captured that movement. I always felt that Bacon took inspiration from low shutterspeed pictures of people’s facial movements. This is what i tried to recreate in this photoseries.
